Chris Winfield - Treasurer and membership
We are excited to host a screening of The River Moorabool, a locally produced documentary. The film explains the many issues facing our local river, which is regarded as the most flow stressed in the State. Under flow calculations for the Sustainable Water Strategy, Little River is included as part of the Moorabool. The movie also showcases some of the beautiful gorge country the river winds through.
Cameron Steele, featured in the movie and Coordinator, People for A Living Moorabool (PALM) will join us to answer questions in a discussion afterwards.
Sorry, our August members meeting was cancelled in light of the unpredictable Covid outbreak in Victoria.
We are looking forward to seeing you all soon, ideally face to face at our next members meeting. Stay safe everyone.
The calendar features photos from the Brisbane Ranges and surrounds, taken by locals who love where they live! You will be amazed by this collection of beautiful images which capture the diversity, tranquility and beauty of the land, and the creatures we share it with.
Stay safe and well and catch up on our latest newsletters.
Some locals around You Yangs and Brissies are getting more Koalas trees planted this winter as you can see from the August Newsletter. Planning for next year is underway so please contact Koala Clancy Foundation if you are interested. Thanks to local property owners, Landcare and Melbourne Water this region will have more habitat for koalas and other wildlife. email@example.com
