Design guidelines to support native grasslands in urban areas. Victoria's urban grasslands are endangered. The Victorian National Parks Association, with support from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, has been developing design guidelines to support native grasslands in urban areas.

Mooroolbark Landcare Network - assisting BRLG and other Landcare groups and Friends groups in the area.  Also includes calendar of events, etc in the area.

15 trees Project - distributing trees to community groups and landowners for planting, as donated by businesses seeking to carbon offset. The project is keen to assist BRLG members and there are a number of articles on their website about BRLG member projects they have supported.

Grow West - vision to rejuvenate 10,000 hectares of the upper Werribee catchment, by connecting large areas of public reserves; Brisbane Ranges National Park, Werribee Gorge State Park and up through to Lerderderg State Park, through a mosaic of restoration works on private property.

Bushbroker - facilitates the location of sites that could generate native vegetation credits as third-party offsets.

Western Grasslands Reserves - 15,000 hectares reserved to protect critically endangered grasslands, and offset the ecological impact of urban growth. The Victorian Government committed to setting up two grassland reserves to protect endangered native grasslands and threatened species, as well as mitigate any potential impacts of urban development on grasslands removed in the growth corridors.

The Western Grassland Reserves will cover two areas of land outside the Urban Growth Boundary south-east of Melton and west of Werribee that connect the You Yangs area to the Werribee River across the volcanic plains.

Stream Frontage Management Program - Melbourne Water contributes to work that protects/enhances riverbanks - weed control, fencing, native vegetation.

Port Phillip and Westernport Catchment Management Authority -  administration and delivery of funding from the Australian Government's Caring for our Country program and Victorian Government's Victorian Investment Framework within our region.  The Authority also delivers the PPWCMA Community Grants
